Well, how is everyone?
It’s been a while since I enjoyed the company of a cigarette; they are starting to smell really awful now, so hopefully I am just about done with that relationship! I lit one, and took a puff, and there in that moment, it wasn’t an ah , sensation,( like it was so many times before) it was a WAKE UP ASS YOU DONâ€T SMOKE ANYMORE!!! I quickly put it out, then I noticed the stench, Gosh, did they always smell this bad? I lit one of Adams, same results,
So I ask Danny ( my neighbor) to light one of his cigs, Yeah I got the YOU’RE A WACKO LOOK FROM DANNY! But, I had to know! So now I know….I am an Ex-smoker now, no I did not quit,
I simply Gave them to God, ask his forgiveness, and he blessed me with a case of the flu…OMG…. My Son and I came down with a really bad case of the flu…GEEZE,
It was terrible!
God has blessed me with a great immune system, Perhaps not a lot of brain cells, but a kick ass immune system for sure, 3 x in the last 44 years, that’s pretty good I would say, however, Mama ain’t no fool, I reinforced my immune system, and
I feel good now, not a lot of flu symptoms, mostly just achy… Praise God!!
And all without one puff, now I understand most people can’t smoke when they are ill, that wasn’t the case in my case!!
Lord…I could smoke and smoke and keep on smoking,
Too sick to sit up…no problem…lay down and smoke!!
I was sooooooooooooo bad!!
Now comes the hard part………………………………………..
My objective now is finding something to do in the fall and winter months ahead… instead of smoking…
I hate the cold!!!
No…I really hate the cold, I am the worlds champion of freeze babies!!
Lord…I need to move to a warm climate!!!
But the best part of this story ….
is that my 19 year old son (adam) has not smoked in 4 days…
This is his first time at trying to become an ex-smoker…many prayers are needed!!
But, whatever it takes..I will be there for him and all of you!!!
For now…stay strong and just breathe!!!
