Give and get support around quitting
Wow it has been quite some time, since I or anyone added to this.
I think it helps to journal and of what you may have accomplished , done, appreciate, etc. To journal on a daily basis however so small helps me with inner strength, joy, and a sense of accomplishment.
Please join me in 3 good things of your day.

The pictures of your monkey
Well, let's see. I was at the hospital today and yet there were wonderful things! First off, we put a big smile on the persons face that checked my wife in by giving her a little Christmas ornament and telling her how pleasant she always is, even when she's swamped.
I waited in the waiting room on the tobacco free campus for over an hour and never even thought about smoking. Freedom is the gift that keeps on giving!
I spent the rest of the time walking my dog on a trail I discovered right by the hospital. There's nothing like spending a little time with our furry little friends and returning a little of their unconditional love to them. And the day was a nice pleasant temperature making the walk that much more enjoyable.
And then of course the return of my loving wife and the fact that the procedure went just fine!
But mostly, I just enjoy living the freedom that I fought for eight years ago and am always thankful that I kept that dream alive and made it my reality!!
On another note. I kept a very thorough journal of my quit experience. Every possible thing I could think of to write. I refer to that journal often when answering questions or looking for subject matter for my blogs. It was a very helpful thing to do for my quit. It kept my mind busy and focused on my goal of freedom while I learned how to get there. I would recommend creating a journal to anyone who thinks it might help.
I hope you find three more joys for the evening!
ONWARD TO FREEDOM!!!

Hmmmm I'm so pleased that we only got 7 inches of snow instead of the ft that was predicted and I'm happy that I got all of the shoveling done before the wind came up and the 3rd is your monkey. ![]()
