9 days quit.....and counting

OK, when I was 14 I picked up a cigarette. My adopted mom sent me to live with her family in Wisconsin. I never met these people and I was expected to just adjust and go to school and have no issues. First off, there was a BABY in the house who slept next to my room! I had NEVER slept next to a baby's room much less in the same house as a baby! I did not get much sleep, I was doing poor in school, and I did not want to do my homework.....I wanted to go to sleep!

So, I started ditching school when it would snow and go take naps. I then met a girl who was doing the same thing as me and she asked if I wanted a cigarette. I said 'Sure why not'. So, that is when I started smoking. Now, I am 28 and so sick of the fact that I am having to quit! I wish I didn't start.

I quit on the 9th of Feburary and I just keep telling myself "NOPE". If you think about it from a smoker or an ex-smoker mentality Not One Puff Ever = NOPE.

Remember, regrets get you nowhere! We can't undo the past but we can DECIDE today to live smoke free and the future is just a series of "nows" stuck together! So what are you doing now?
